Sam Roberts

Accredited Specialist (Commercial Litigation)

Sam is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Roberts Crosbie Mortensen. He is the team leader for the Commercial Litigation and Insolvency & Restructuring teams and joint head of Enterprise Growth & Corporate Advisory. His practice is focused on acting for companies, business owners and insolvency practitioners in relation to the resolution of disputes and recovery of monies, insolvency claims and restructuring, risk management and enterprise growth. Sam also has extensive experience acting in relation to a range of corporate and commercial agreements, transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring. He is consulted by company directors in relation to legal issues as they arise and also acts as virtual inhouse Counsel to companies undertaking projects relating to commercial risk evaluation and management or transformation and enterprise growth. Accredited Specialist Sam was admitted as a Solicitor in 2001 and has been a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation since 2013, having acquired his accreditation in the area of Building & Construction Law. He has a niche practice in relation to the resolution of disputes in the building and construction industry and an in-depth knowledge of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999, having co-authored the 6th edition of our popular Security of Payment Guide.

Amanda Crosbie

Accredited Specialist (Business Law)

Amanda is an Accredited Specialist in Business Law. She supports directors and principals in a variety of industries, including the professional services, construction and health industries. With a high percentage of referral business Amanda has built a long list of repeat clients and a reputation for providing exceptional legal advice that is timely, commercial, practical and effective. She acts as a virtual in-house Counsel to a number of growing businesses across NSW where she provides on demand advice and assistance in relation to drafting and negotiating agreements, transactions, risk management, enterprise growth, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution and insolvency. About Amanda Amanda is a Partner, Team Lead of our Corporate & Commercial Team and an Accredited Specialist in Business Law. She acts as Virtual In-House Counsel for a number of established and growing SMEs. Amanda graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2010 with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and Bachelor of Finance. She was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2011.

Tony Peterson

Accredited Specialist (Commercial Litigation)

Tony is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with a sub specialty in Corporations Law. He has a decade of experience representing clients in complex commercial disputes often involving multiple parties and litigation in the State and Federal Courts of Australia. Tony is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with considerable big firm experience working both autonomously and as part of a large team on multi-million dollar, complex commercial disputes. He has an active practice advising high net wealth individuals with all aspects of their business dealings and a keen interest in legal issues arising from the financial services industry including investigations by ASIC and white-collar crime prosecutions. About Tony He also has experience representing liquidators including insolvency appointments arising from the financial services and building and construction industries. Tony regularly advises clients in relation to financial services issues and Corporations Act claims, contractual claims, trade practices, torts, negligence, debt recovery and insolvency appointments.
